Invensys Power licensing NexPrise technology
Business-to-business software maker NexPrise signed a deal with Invensys Power Systems in which the power-systems company will license NexPrise's collaborative and communications technology. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal will allow Invensys Power Systems to automate its business-collaboration communications that have been traditionally done via fax, e-mail and overnight mail and to collaborate with its partners on engineering drawings, specifications, design changes and shipping notices. Invensys Power Systems makes power systems for the IT (information technology), telecommunications and industrial markets.
