Intel Capital invests in Zensys

Intel Capital announced Tuesday it invested in Zensys, a developer of wireless technology designed to allow users to communicate with home devices such as appliances and security equipment.

Zensys, developer of Z-Wave networking technology, will work with Intel to accelerate the development and integration of its products into consumer electronics devices. Designed to be a low-cost, interoperable RF-based wireless networking technology, Z-Wave is used to monitor and control home devices from anywhere in the world.
