Intel announces its VPs for 2002

Intel announced Wednesday that it has promoted 16 executives to the level of vice president. Intel appoints executives to this position once a year and tries to control the number of VPs in the company. With the promotions, company vice presidents total 107. Those promoted include Jeff McCrea, a processor-marketing specialist, and Randy Wilhelm, the vice president of the Intel Architecture Group and director of Chipset Engineering for the Desktop Products Group.
