IceFyre nabs cool $19 million

IceFyre Semiconductor announced Tuesday it raised a $19 million second round of funding, co-led by Motorola Ventures and Covington Capital. TD Capital Technology Ventures and previous investors Prism Venture Partners, Kodiak Venture Partners, VenGrowth Capital and Business Development Bank of Canada all participated in the latest round. The Ottawa-based company has raised a total of $39 million to date. IceFyre is a fabless semiconductor company that focuses on wireless integrated circuit designs.
