The images, hosted on Romanian website Mobilissimo, confirm Ice Cream Sandwich as being version 4.0 of the operating system and that the upcoming Samsung phone has the codename of "tuna".

They also clearly demonstrate soft buttons for home, back and menu buttons and widget placement ala Honeycomb, and some redesigned icons for Google's applications.

The Nexus Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich are expected to be officially announced at Samsung's Mobile Unpacked Conference, in San Diego, 11 October.
