IBM unveils Malay leasing plan

IBM Malaysia has announced a leasing plan to push its servers, storage systems and a host of other hardware. IBM Global Financing (Malaysia) senior manager Bernard Chiang said the plan allows customers to lease the equipment for a period of 36 months with financing packages available from the computing giant until the end of September. Among products included in the scheme are the IBM zSeries, pSeries, iSeries and xSeries servers, as well as storage systems, networking hardware, POS (point-of-sales) equipment and printers. The plan, which is also available through IBM's business partners, is open to both the public and private sectors, with financing packages ranging from $25,000 to $1 million. Staff writer N.
