The Brunei government has chosen IBM to design and build an information technology backbone for the deployment of e-government services in the country.
In a statement, Big Blue said the project will be jointly undertaken by IBM Business Consulting Services and local systems integrator Syabas Technologies. Financial details of the deal were undisclosed. The two companies previously joined hands to set up an Islamic digital library for Brunei's religious affairs department.
