IBM nabs $115 million services contract

IBM Japan has won a 10-year, $115 million outsourcing contract from Japan's Nissay Dowa General Insurance. "The deal only covers services, minus hardware and software," said Hiromi Ishida, an IBM Japan representative. IBM Japan has bagged several multimillion-dollar IT services contracts in the past. Last September, it clinched a $579 million contract from Kobe Steel.
