A full-blown implementation of IBM's Unix-based AIX operating system will be released for the company's iSeries mid-range servers, according to IBM, but not until 2004, despite earlier hints that it might be delivered this year.
IBM'sZDNet U.K.'s Peter Judge reported from can already run AIX programs through emulation in a "portable application solution environment" (PASE).
