IBM has established a center in Bangalore, India, to replicate custom-built applications of those IBM consultants have designed in previous customer engagements.

IBM will send about 300 of its business consultants to its Global Business Solution Center in Bangalore on a rotating basis to advise development teams on application design, an IBM representative said Wednesday. The Bangalore center will focus specifically on creating about 50 application templates for IBM to use in speeding up consulting work, according to IBM.
