I went to buy a Mac. Why did I buy a PC?
Why am I still buying PCs? I don't need to rely on what I'm used to any more. Why have I still not bought a Mac? They work with my iPod and Google Docs -- the two things I use most frequently

When, in February of this year, I bought a new laptop, I didn't need persuading to buy a MacBook. That's why I bought a Windows PC.
My error there wasn't a typo, but a real-world mistake. The problem I have is that despite knowing Macs are more capable machines, that affordable Windows slab was its own safety net; I'm used to them and I couldn't go wrong with investing £600 in something I know like the back of my hand.
Times have changed though. Now, we're living in an age where people with no legs can compete in the Olympics, people go on holiday in space and Macs run Windows. So I'm thinking to myself, "Why am I still buying PCs? I don't need to rely on what I'm used to any more. Why have I still not bought a Mac? They work with my iPod and Google Docs -- the two things I use most frequently."
I can't afford to rectify my mistakes this time round. But next time I go shopping for a new computer, I'm going to take a long hard look at Vista's error messages and security warnings and ask myself, "Do I even need to rely on this anymore?"
