Howard the Duck and more Marvel characters are set to star in four adult-oriented animated series headed to Hulu.

The announcement came during the Television Critics Association press tour Monday, when Hulu unveiled shows that will feature M.O.D.O.K., Hit Monkey, Tigra and Dazzler, Howard the Duck and an animated teamup called "Marvel's The Offenders."

All of the shows will have Jeph Loeb, Marvel's head of television, as an executive producer.

Howard the Duck will feature the anthropomorphic duck who's trying to return to his home world with the help of his friend Beverly while avoiding one Dr. Bong. Writers Kevin Smith and Dave Willis will executive-produce the Howard the Duck show.

M.O.D.O.K. will feature the supervillain who's essentially a giant brain, with writers Jordan Blum and Patton Oswalt as executive producers.

According to Marvel, Hit Monkey will feature a "wronged Japanese snow monkey" who will slice his way through the Tokyo underworld, with writers Josh Gordon and Will Speck as executive producers.

Tigra and Dazzler will star the two superhero best friends fighting for recognition for other super people living in Las Angeles. Writers Erica Rivinoja and Chelsea Handler will serve as executive producers.

The greenlit series come as Marvel shows seem to be rapidly disappearing from Netflix following the cancellations of Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron First. There are also live-action Marvel shows on the way to Disney's upcoming Disney+ service, set to launch sometime in late 2019.
