HP's Voodoo PC brand has unveiled its answer to Apple's skeletal MacBook Air -- the Voodoo Envy 133, available only to rich North American folk thanks to its starting price of $2,099 (£1,080).

Measuring in at just 18mm, the Envy 133 is a 13.3-inch LED screen-toting performance laptop with instant-on capabilities which, over a lifetime, might save you enough time to read War and Peace.

Other specs include 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs, Intel GMA X3100 graphics, HDMI-out, and either HDD or -- here it comes -- SSD disk drives.

HP promises the Envy 133 will hit the UK later in the year, sometime around September, but perhaps with a slightly different spec. No word on a possible price, but Crave is prepared to swap eight 2G iPhones for one. Any takers? No? Nuts to you then. -Nate Lanxon
