Hewlett-Packard on Tuesday announced new wireless data services for its HP iPaq Pocket PC line of handheld computers. For $19.95 a month, HP is providing access to Outlook's e-mail and calendar functions using Symmetry Pro technology from Infowave. HP is also offering a service in conjunction with Go America that allows iPaq owners to transfer frequently used documents from their desktop PC to a server and then wirelessly access them using the handheld. A basic subscription allows 50MB of document storage and costs $9.95 a month, while a premium version with 250MB of storage costs $29.95 a month.
