Hewlett-Packard said Monday that it won a six-year, multimillion dollar outsourcing deal to manage the computing needs of the Dallas Independent School District (ISD). The deal follows similar deals with two other Texas school districts, the Katy ISD and Houston ISD.
Jim Milton, a senior vice president at HP, told CNET News.com earlier this month that the company had landed a $75 million deal with a large school district that he did not then name. A source familiar with the situation said the Dallas deal announced Monday was the one to which he was referring.
