Hong Kong's Hot Toys, which has built a reputation on its stunningly lifelike scale action figures, has just unveiled the prototype of a new Dark Knight Joker.

Scaled at 1/6, the figure is a revisitation of Hot Toys' 2009 DX Joker Collectible Figure, and has been modelled (in case you couldn't tell) on the Heath Ledger iteration of Batman's most famous foe.
According to Hot Toys, the figure was sculpted and painted with the latest techniques by Korean artists Yulli and JC Hong, with a costume made by scale-figure costume artist Kato.
It employs something that Hot Toys calls its Patented Eyeball Rolling System, which means that the eyes move around in the figure's head. Eerie! Selected markets will also receive the Joker's bank-heist clown mask.
At the moment, pricing has yet to be announced; however, it's probably fair to estimate that it will be somewhere between US$200 and US$300 for the figure and accessories. You can see more pictures at Hot Toys' Facebook page.
