Subscribers to Quickflix's streaming services will soon gain access to content from American pay-TV network HBO.

Subscribers to Quickflix's internet movie and TV-streaming service can shortly enjoy the thrill of the network's series, mini-series, documentaries, films, and stand-up comedy hurtling down the internet to their TVs, PS3s and PCs.

Titles available from the outset include Entourage, Sex and the City, The Sopranos, Band of Brothers and The Pacific. According to Stephen Langsford, Quickflix's executive chairman, the TV programs that are currently airing in the US, such as Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones, will be available on Quickflix "typically 12 to 18 months after [their] first run".

All of this HBO goodness will become available from late February 2012, and won't cost Quickflix subscribers an extra cent.
