Harry Potter longs to be killed off on 'Game of Thrones'
Wizard of Westeros! Daniel Radcliffe has fought Dementors, but how would he do against dragons?
Two great fandoms, but do they go great together?
"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe has faced Dementors and basilisks in his own series, but how would he do against the White Walkers, zombie Mountain, and dragons of "Game of Thrones"? Radcliffe told Digital Spy he'd "love to" find out.
"If they want to just bring me in and f***ing kill me," he said, in un-Harry-like language, "I would be so happy to do that."
Ooh, the possibilities if these two universes were to collide. Speed-writing machine J.K. Rowling, creator of Potter, could team up with George "Where's the next book" R.R. Martin! (Hey, at least we'd get some new content.) The wise-cracking Weasleys could trade quips with smart-alec Tyrion Lannister! Hermione's magic spell powers could duke it out against those of creepy Melisandre!
Could sweet owl Hedwig have a shot against Daenerys' dragons? Would gigantic Hagrid immediately get squashed by The Mountain?
And who would Harry go up against? Right now, it seems as if Harry's Voldemort would have to be Queen Cersei, who's a lot better-looking than He Who Must Not Be Named, but every bit as deadly. After all, actress Lena Headey, who portrays Cersei, has already publicly mulled who she'd like to kill her. What if it was The Boy Who Lived, right before he died? Because as we all know from "Thrones," "valar morghulis."
