Halloween is a time for being frightened. And what better to put you on edge like a scary movie or TV show?

Lucky for you, there are a lot of scary things streaming online. The first movie that comes to mind when people think of Halloween is, well, "Halloween" with the unstoppable Michael Myers. While the original isn't available on the big three subscription services (Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix), the 2007 Rob Zombie remake is available on Amazon Prime.

For people who want to marathon through the weekend, there are a lot of options. Zombie fans, it's hard to beat five seasons of "The Walking Dead" streaming on Netflix. People who enjoy "Scream" will like the number of choices they have -- the new TV series is available now on Hulu while the first three movies are streaming on both Amazon Prime and Netflix. If you're looking for movies off the beaten path, check out "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil" or "Housebound." Both are horror-comedies done well.

Check out the list below for Halloween ideas by streaming services or by category of scares.
