Hackers not the answer to child porn

In response to the April 12 column by Christos Ballas, "Call out the hackers!":

Your article calls out to people calling out the hackers. Hackers are just as bad as the child pornography and child molesters themselves. Hackers can be used by law enforcement for assistance, taking down sites, helping law enforcement gain evidence and becoming informants for federal agencies.

What we seem to be forgetting is that there are two victims in child pornography cases: the parents and, the most affected group, the children, who will be damaged directly by these actions and scarred for life. Many legislative avenues can be taken.

I do believe there are federal questions related to this issue, and there might be finer ways to approach the question federally, without involving the Supreme Court.
