We can now officially announce which lucky CNET.co.uk fan has won our competition and is getting the chance to fly to Las Vegas next January to check out the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show. We had some great entries this year, so many thanks to all of you who put your mouse where your mouth is.
We couldn't, however, resist the entry of one young Nate Lanxon, who confessed that he couldn't live without his 5th-generation iPod because he uses it to get his fix of "14 different podcasts, it also contains all my favourite Smurf cover songs..."
Nate also got all multimedia on us, sending us a link to a strangely twisted video, which you can study here. Having checked out Nate's blog at techsmessage.com, we believed Nate's claim that, "Technology is my life... I just never get a chance to visit the big events in the US and I know I'd milk this trip to the bone."
It's a worrying image but we think we know what he means. If you're kicking yourself for not bothering to enter this year, then console yourself with the three (count 'em), three other competitions we've got currently running on the site.
Perhaps you'd like a chance to win a Sony HDR-HC3 hi-def camcorder? Or maybe you're a gamer who'd like a brand new Xbox 360, along with a 32-inch LCD TV from Samsung and some great games? Or indeed, perhaps you'd be up for £4,000 of tech gear in our stunning Win a Digital Christmas competitition?
We thought so. Check out the lot on our Win Things page, and good luck! Someone's gotta win 'em... -MP
