GTA 5 gets Vice City mod, watch the first video here

Ever wonder what the 2002 game would look like using GTA V's engine?

A modder is re-creating the world of 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in Grand Theft Auto V.

Check out the video below to go on a virtual tour of the mod, but be aware that this is a work-in-progress. The flat textures and other oddities are likely to be improved and tweaked in the future.

But these early results seem promising.

This map is not yet ready to download because it's not finished, YouTuber taltigolt (maker of excellent mods) says in the video's description.

Rockstar Games released Vice City for mobile devices back in 2012. The game is available now on iTunes for $4.99, £3.99 or AU$6.49 and and Google Play for similar prices.
