The Breville Quattro Sandwich Maker Williams Sonoma

Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup will always be one of my favorite meals, but that doesn't mean that I'll always keep making them the exact same way. The Breville Quattro Sandwich Maker offers a simple way to handle those grilled cheese sandwiches, along with a variety of other hot sandwiches. The flat cooking plates ensure that both sides are cooked equally, something I tend to have a problem with when my sandwich is in a pan. The upper plate floats so it can handle even tall sandwiches piled high.

The Breville Quattro Sandwich Maker has a nonstick cooking surface that makes it easy to cook delicate food, such as eggs, and can essentially double as a griddle for such breakfast treats as pancakes. It has a ready indicator that makes heating it to the correct temperature a snap. The body is stainless steel, and the cooking plates are cast aluminum with a nonstick coating. The sandwich maker is easy to clean, but it's important to use only wood or plastic utensils to avoid scratching the nonstick surface. The Breville Quattro Sandwich Maker measures 13.5 inches deep by 15.5 inches wide by 5.75 inches tall, with is plenty of room for up to four sandwiches at a time. It is priced at $69.98.
