A whole new world of Google.

Google showed off a whole bunch of new tech on Wednesday in San Francisco, and the great news for Brits is that it will mostly all be available for preorder in the UK immediately.

First up is the Pixel 2, the successor to 2016's sell-out Pixel phone. The smaller version of the phone, with the 5-inch screen, will cost £629 for the 64GB model and £729 for the 128GB model. The larger Pixel 2 XL, with its 6-inch screen, is priced at £799 for the 64GB model and £899 for the 128GB model.

You can get your preorder in online now or buy direct from Google, EE or Carphone Warehouse on 19 October for the Pixel 2 and 15 November for the Pixel 2XL.

That 19 October release date is worth marking in your diary if you're planning to buy a selection of new Google products. It's also the date that the Google Home Mini will be available (for £49) and the Daydream View (for £99). You'll have to wait a little longer for the Google Pixel Buds, which will be available for £159 from 22 November.

If you're looking for something a little more substantial in size to add to your tech collection, the Pixelbook is available to preorder from the Google Store from today at £999 for the 128GB iteration and £1,199 for the 256GB version. They will both be available to purchase from the Google Store, Currys PC World, John Lewis and Harrods from the end of October, along with the Pixelbook Pen for £99.

Not enough storage for you? The Pixelbook (512GB) will cost £1,699 and will be on shelves in early December -- just in time for Christmas.

Sadly, British Google fans will have to wait to get their mitts on Clips and Google Home Max. Google did say "we hope to make it available in the future," so there's hope at least.
