The new Google Nexus 7 has landed on Three, but there's no 3G model so no browsing the Web when you're out and about -- unless you splash out on a 3G dongle too.

The new Nexus 7 costs £200 from Three. Three only sells the Wi-Fi version, but that doesn't mean Three customers are cut off from the Web when they're away from home. You can buy an E5220 MiFi dongle to tether the tablet, which connects to the Internet over 3G and to the tablet over Wi-Fi, letting you browse the Web on the tablet when you're out and about. The dongle costs £26 and 5GB of data costs £16 each month. The Nexus 7 currently available on Three's website is the old model.

If you want a Nexus 7 with built-in Internet browsing on the go, there is a 4G version sold direct from Google or on O2 -- although like the new iPhone, the tablet couldn't connect to O2's 4G network to start with.

Since the new Nexus 7 has been announced, we've been waiting with bated breath for follow-ups to the Google Nexus 10 -- rumoured to ditch Samsung for an eye-popping Asus screen -- and the Nexus 5 which is set to replace the Google Nexus 4. When they appear, the new Nexii should showcase Android KitKat, the next generation of Android software. If you want the new software on your Nexus 7, rest assured it will get the update in short order.

In the meantime, the new Nexus 7 is the first to get the latest Android update, Android 4.3.1 Jelly Bean.
