Google on Tuesday introduced a new version of its Search Appliance hardware for enterprises. The Google Search Appliance now handles up to 30 million documents and offers advanced search capabilities, such as the ability to specify ranges for things like dates and prices. Pricing starts at $30,000 for indexing 500,000 documents and ranges to the high six figures, according to a Google spokesman.
