Microsoft's Windows Live Search has replaced Google as the default search engine on Amazon's A9 site. Microsoft confirmed its new position, but neither Microsoft nor Amazon would comment on any financial terms of the deal.

The shift was noted on several enthusiast blogs over the weekend, including LiveSide and the Google Operating System blog.
