Good Technology receives funding

The company has received $45 million in funding, which it will funnel into areas such as sales and marketing.

Start-up Good Technology announced Monday that it has received $45 million in additional funding, which the company will spend on efforts in areas such as sales and marketing. Venture capital firm Crosslink Capital led the round of financing, which also included BA Venture Partners; Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers; and Benchmark Capital. Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Good Technology develops software and services for wireless devices, such as PalmOne's Treo 600 combination cell phone and handheld organizer.

Also Monday, the company announced the availability of its GoodLink software for devices that use Microsoft's Windows Mobile 2003 operating system. The company said recently that over 2,000 companies use its GoodLink product.
