If you were in Sydney's Pitt St Mall yesterday you may have noticed a little fuss and commotion. Microsoft cut the ribbon on its brand new store, the second of its flagship stores globally.
It was a well-attended event, with Microsoft also using the timing to launch the Surface Book and the Microsoft Band 2. Only time will tell if it becomes the "destination" that the company wants it to be, but its certainly on the right track, with help available for any users of Microsoft products and great range of gear on sale.
Also on sale is the plus-sized iPad Pro, Apple's potential "laptop killer" 12.9-inch tablet. Of course, you're paying through the nose, but with the high end Apple Pencil peripheral and the matching keyboard, Apple has crafted a smart and versatile product, but one that may prove more niche than mainstream.
Meanwhile, Telstra continues to refine and iterate its 4G network, this time hitting near Gigabit speeds using a brand new carrier aggregation system. We talk about the state of Australia's LTE and take the time to answer a listener question:
