The third PAX Australia kicks off in one week and promises to be bigger and better than ever. We look at some of the great stuff that will be on show, as well as spruik a few of the panels that the team are either hosting or appearing on. It promises to be an amazing three days.

Also amazing is the high-profile return of Kogan Mobile. After crashing and burning back in 2013, the MVNO is back thanks to a deal with Vodafone. Will this be another success for Kogan or is Vodafone risking some of the goodwill it's made back from users?

Aussie ingenuity is back in the news thanks to a CSIRO scientist who got robbed. In a lightbulb moment he created a new technique for getting fingerprints to fluoresce under UV -- something that could genuinely change the way crime techs work.

Finally, after lots of dodgy Photoshop jobs, it's officially "Back to the Future Week". Yes, it was October 21, 2015 that Marty McFly travelled to when he experienced the crazy future. So in honour of BttF, we look at the technology we thought we'd have by now and what's been holding it up!
