Mobile data caps are pretty much hated by the entire Girt by CNET team, so we're always keen to see what telcos have up their sleeves when it comes to giving us more GB to burn.

Virgin has an interesting take on this, becoming the first Aussie operator to offer data rollover from month to month. While it's not for everyone, if you only occasionally go over your data limit, this offer might be what you're after.

We finally have a date for Netflix launching in Australia -- March 24 is when the video-on-demand service will flip the switch. There were a host of other details revealed -- including a data-free deal with iiNet -- but we're still eagerly awaiting some information about pricing.

Anyone keeping an eye on the data retention debate in Parliament at the moment would have managed at least a wry chuckle when we learned that a number of pollies -- Minister for Communication Malcom Turnbull amongst them -- like to use secret, metadata-free messaging apps to communicate. It's the story that got people downloading Wickr all over again.

Finally, as the Mobile World Congress 2015 wraps up, we take a quick look at some wearable devices that caught our eye for very different reasons.
