Get an Xbox One bundle for $296.09
In a deal that beats even Black Friday pricing, the console comes with two Assassin's Creed games. There is, however, a rebate requirement.
Have you been saving your pennies for a new game console? You might be able to afford one sooner than you think.
Ending today, Groupon (Groupon? I must admit, the company does score some decent tech deals these days) has the Xbox One Assassin's Creed Bundle for $314.99 shipped. That's after applying coupon code TRIPLE at checkout.
Granted, that's only $30 off the regular price. But, wait, it gets better: Cashback site Ebates is currently offering 6% back on all Groupon purchases. That brings your final (post-rebate) price down to $296.09. In your face, Black Friday! (The bundle was $299 then.)
If you're new to Ebates and/or cashback services in general, here's a handy primer I wrote. The only caveat is that, as with most kinds of rebates, it'll take about 90 days for you to get your cash back. So, yeah, this deal requires a modicum of patience.
And while you're waiting, you can run, jump, scale and stab your way through the awesomeness that is Assassin's Creed: Unity, which GameSpot called "a joy to behold." Also included: the even better Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
As for the Xbox One itself, it may not be perfect, but it still delivers one helluva gaming experience . (My advice: forget all the voice-command and TV stuff, and just come for the games.)
