The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a powerful 7-inch Android tablet. Samsung

As I've mentioned before, I'm a big fan of a 7-inch tablets, which I think are more practical for everyday use than 10-inch models.

While supplies last (and they may not last long), Secondipity has the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch tablet with 3G for $249.99 shipped. That's after applying coupon code galaxy4u at checkout.

Let's do a little comparison shopping, shall we? The Kindle Fire is priced at $199, while the just-announced Nook Tablet runs $249. What does the Galaxy Tab offer that those models don't? Three key features: Bluetooth, front- and rear-facing cameras, and 3G.

Bluetooth is great if you want to stream audio to an external speaker or car stereo. You could even pair a headset if you wanted to use the Tab for Skype calls or the like.

Likewise, the front-facing camera enables video calling, while the rear-facing one (though a bit limited at 3 megapixels) is fun for casual snapshooting, moviemaking, and the like.

Finally, 3G. This is the Sprint version of the Tab, but there's no data plan included. That's a good thing: you can sign up for one if you want, but you're not locked into a two-year contract from the get-go. Spring has plans that start at $19.99 per month.

The Galaxy Tab runs Android 2.2, but I'm sure it can be rooted to run other versions if you like. I've got the Wi-Fi version of this tablet, and I like it a lot--everything except for battery life, which has been mediocre.

I'm not sure how long this coupon code will be in effect or how much stock Secondipity has on hand. I will say that if you're looking for more tablet power than you'll get in either the Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet, the Galaxy Tab delivers.

Bonus deal: Making the move to a new PC? For a very limited time, you can get Laplink PCmover Professional for just $10. Regular price: $59.95! The catch: You must "like" Laplink on Facebook and share the page with your friends. (Small price to pay if you ask me.)

Bonus deal No. 2: If you liked yesterday's photo-canvas deal, then forgive me: today's is even better. Deal-sharing site Moolala has an 11x14-inch gallery wrapped photo canvas for $27, or an 18x24 for $38. Both are courtesy of Canvas People, and both include shipping.
