Get a Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone for $134.99

That's a pretty big savings on the hot handset of the moment. This Sprint model requires a two-year contract and includes both shipping and activation.

Say hello to 4.8 inches of Super AMOLED screen goodness.
Say hello to 4.8 inches of Super AMOLED screen goodness. Samsung

The hottest phone on the planet right now: Samsung's Galaxy S III (S3). And looking at some of its specs, I can understand why.

Normally, entrance to this Galaxy runs $199.99 (with contract, natch), but for the next couple days, LetsTalk.com has the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III (16GB) for $134.99 shipped, including free activation and a $10 Google Wallet credit (when you activate it after buying the phone). That's after applying coupon code TALKLOGIC at checkout.

As an iPhone user, I can't help but feel a little envious when looking at this phone (hereafter referred to as the S3) -- mostly due to its 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, which positively dwarfs the iPhone's 3.5-incher. Plus, it runs at a higher resolution: 1,280 x 720 pixels.

I'm not saying size matters, only that my aging eyes are increasingly longing for a larger smartphone screen. Your move, Apple.

The S3 features Android 4.0 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich), an 8-megapixel camera, a dual-core processor, every wireless option known to man (including NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi Direct) and 4G LTE support (though for now it's stuck at 3G until Sprint switches on its LTE network).

Other noteworthy amenities include Samsung's S Voice and S Beam software. The former offers Siri-like voice recognition; the latter, Bump-like media sharing. You even get 50GB of free Dropbox storage for two years.

CNET's review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 praised its "high-performing hardware and creative software features," ultimately dubbing it "an excellent, top-end phone that's neck and neck with the HTC One X."

Needless to say, you're looking at around $80 per month minimum to operate the S3 -- same as with any major-carrier smartphone. Thus, you might as well get the best price you can on the hardware. In this case, that's the LetsTalk deal.

Just cheapin' it real.

Bonus deal: Game time! For a limited time, Amazon has Saints Row: The Third (PC) for $9.99. (Make sure to mouse over "PC Download," otherwise you might see one of the (much higher) console version prices.) This top-rated open-world action game offers "fantastic missions, outrageous weapons, and awesome vehicles."
