Get a powered 7-port USB hub for $9.99 shipped

Is your laptop low on USB ports? Are you tired of getting on the floor to reach your tower's rear ports? This handy hub solves the problem.

Turn one USB port into seven.
Turn one USB port into seven. Ben's Outlet

You know the old saying: you can never be too rich, too thin, or have too many USB ports. Actually, those first two are questionable, but if you own a laptop (or even a desktop that sits on the floor and largely out of reach), you've probably wished for more (or at least more accessible) ports.

While supplies last, Ben's Outlet has a Titan HB703 powered 7-port USB hub for $9.99 shipped. They even throw in a free pair of earbuds for some reason.

Update: Looks like the site is either sold out or having technical problems. In any case, as many commenters have pointed out, this hub is available for even less from sites like Amazon. Check the comments for links!

The "powered" part is important; most USB devices require at least some juice (especially for charging), and a hub that lacks its own power supply won't deliver nearly enough. The Titan HB703 comes with an AC adapter.

It also comes with seven USB 2.0 ports: five in front, two in back. It's compatible with Windows and Mac systems (and no doubt Linux machines as well), and backwards-compatible with USB 1.1 devices.

I have no idea how long these will last, so if you've been wishin' and hopin' for a massive USB expansion, I'd act fast.

Bonus deal #1: If you can scrape up another 10 bucks, Newegg has the IOGear GearPower portable battery for mobile devices for $9.99 shipped. That's after applying coupon code EMCKCJA74 at checkout and redeeming a $5 mail-in rebate (PDF). The GearPower comes with tips for charging most cell phones, MP3 players, and the like.

Bonus deal #2: In celebration of the final "Harry Potter" movie, Warner Bros. is offering LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 for iOS for $2.99. As I noted in my shotgun review, this awesome iOS version "loses almost nothing in its transition to the small screen."
