I've spent a fair amount of time this summer driving the backwoods of northern Michigan. Without a GPS, I'd still be out there. Seriously, how did people navigate before these things came along? (Oh, right: maps.)

I won't bore you with a lot of details on the Nuvi; you can read CNET's review for the full scoop. I will say it's a fairly entry-level model without a lot of bells and whistles--but it's noteworthy for its fast start-up, easy interface, and helpful "Where Am I?" feature.
Also noteworthy: this model sells for at least $149.99 just about everywhere else. Nuvi deals as good as this one are few and far between, so I'd hop on it if you're interested.
