Get a 46-inch HDTV for $598

The Sceptre X46BV may not have a ton of bells and whistles (though it does have 4 HDMI inputs), but it comes with glowing user reviews and free shipping.

A 46-inch HDTV for under $600 is rare indeed, especially one that includes free shipping. Walmart

"Lost" returns February 2. The Super Bowl XLIV airs five days later. March Madness kicks off in, well, March. How many more reasons do you need to finally treat yourself to a big ol' HDTV?

Walmart.com has the Sceptre X46BV 46-inch LCD HDTV for $598. Amazingly, that includes free shipping--a rarity with big TVs--though you'll likely have to add sales tax.

Even so, that's one of the lowest prices I've ever seen on a TV of this size. OK, but is it any good? CNET hasn't reviewed the X46BV, but the 80-plus user reviews on Walmart's product page average just over four stars. Similarly, the user reviews at Newegg are overwhelmingly positive.

From a spec standpoint, the X46BV certainly seems to deliver. It sports 4 HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs, a VGA port (for connecting to a PC), and an ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner.

Don't expect any fancy features like automatic source detection or input labeling. But do expect "awesome" picture quality (one reviewer's words) and an extra $100 in your pocket (this set previously sold for $698). Hard to beat!
