I know it was barely a week ago that I posted a monitor deal, but this one is just too good to pass up. In fact, I don't even need a monitor myself, and it's all I can do not to whip out the credit card.
For what promises to be a limited time, Staples has the Acer 21.5-inch G215HAbd monitor for $89.98 shipped, plus sales tax in most states. That's after applying coupon code 69882 at checkout. (There's already a coupon code applied to the purchase, but Staples allows stacking.)
Wow, right? Even on Black Friday, I don't think I've ever seen a 22-inch (class) monitor at such a low price.
And check out the specs: 1,920x1,080-pixel native resolution, VGA and DVI (with HDCP) inputs, and a three-year Acer warranty. No HDMI or speakers, alas, but those are hardly necessary if you're just planning to use this as a computer monitor.
The handful of user reviews on Staples' product page average out to about four stars. I own a pair of Acer monitors myself, and they've proven most reliable. (One of them is a good 5 years old.)
At this price, these will likely sell out quickly. If you received this post in an e-mail and they're already gone, I apologize--but, as always, I recommend visiting The Cheapskate in the morning so you can get the deals while they're fresh!
Bonus deal: Need more storage? Newegg has a Hitachi 2TB external hard drive for $74.99 shipped when you apply coupon code EMCKDJK56 at checkout. (As always, you must be a newsletter subscriber.) Among other things, it comes with preloaded backup software.
