Software maker Gearworks announced Tuesday that it raised $11 million in its second funding round.
The company makes software that connects dispatched workers, such as delivery-truck drivers, cable TV technicians and plumbers to their companies' internal computer network. The software runs on standard wireless devices and allows people to manage billing transactions, collect data and access customer information from remote locations.
