Direct PC seller Gateway said Tuesday that several of its high-tech "how-to" guides are now available through bookstores. The books, which are being carried by retailers such as Amazon and Borders Books, include "Use Your PC to Explore Digital Music," "Create and Share Digital Photos" and "Capture, Create and Share Digital Movies." The books, which stem from Gateway's in-store learning programs, include a CD-ROM and sell for $25.
"More and more people want to get into digital media applications, and Gateway offers a comprehensive and engaging way to learn," said Luc Lambert, Gateway's vice president of digital services.
