Gateway contracts out Asian services

Gateway, which is pulling out of its overseas markets, said Monday that it has contracted with Ventura, Calif.-based Vsource to provide service and support for existing Gateway customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Vsource said it expects revenue from the deal to exceed $30 million over the life of the three-year contract. The company will provide technical support, field repair, parts, logistics and other customer services in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and other Asia-Pacific countries.
