Culture -- closed for renovations

The Gap is turning away online shoppers who visit the and this week while the company overhauls both sites for the holidays.

The San Francisco company told the Associated Press that the shut-down started about a week ago because the "soup-to-nuts" upgrade is too complex to keep them running. The company did not say when it plans to re-open the stores, which have already been closed for an unusually long time by Internet standards., also owned by the Gap, was closed for two days last week, the AP reported. The revamped store now features detailed product information, outfit tips, and a niftier shopping basket, but nothing mind-blowing in my opinion.
