Go behind the scenes of the 'Game of Thrones' mega-battle

From Sansa Stark's smile to Wun Wun's horse punch, producers and stars explain how the "Battle of the Bastards" came together.

Warning: Big giant "Game of Thrones" spoilers ahead.

That wee hint of a smile on Sansa Stark's face? Fans feel they earned it after suffering with Ned Stark's daughter through her tortures at the hands of Ramsay Bolton, but actress Sophie Turner earned it too. In a 10-minute video taking viewers behind Sunday's "Battle of the Bastards" episode, "Game of Thrones" director David Benioff explains that Sansa's walkaway scene was filmed about a dozen times to get that look juuuuust right.

The video also reveals just how many horses were rounded up for the Battle of Winterfell, shows how a green screen created giant Wun Wun's punchout of a horse, and displays Jon Snow actor Kit Harington's impressive air-punching abilities.

Everyone from Benioff and his co-showrunner D.B. Weiss to the show's stars to its horse mistress Camilla Naprous discuss the secrets of the scene. And Naprous doesn't even have the coolest title of those interviewed. That goes to the nicely named Sean Savage, "A Camera Operator, Dragon Unit."
