FreeMarkets, American Standard ink deal
FreeMarkets, a company that builds online marketplaces, said Monday it signed an agreement with American Standard Companies, which manufactures products for air conditioning systems, bathroom and kitchen fixtures and fittings, and vehicle control systems. Under terms of the agreement, FreeMarkets will provide American Standard with access to its business-to-business hosted marketplace network, which American Standard will use as an infrastructure for sourcing a variety of goods and services for its business.
