Fox News' Sean Hannity takes Megyn Kelly feud to Twitter

The dispute goes public with an angry tweet from Sean Hannity at his Fox News colleague.

Drama continues to unfold at Fox News.

Fox News host Megyn Kelly criticized Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on her show Wednesday night for choosing primarily to appear on colleague Sean Hannity's show. "Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10:00, will go on 'Hannity' and pretty much only 'Hannity' and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days, which doesn't exactly expand the tent," she said on "The Kelly File."

The host of "The Sean Hannity Show" fired back at his colleague on Twitter, taking a page out of Trump's playbook and publicly slamming his co-worker to his 1.66 million Twitter followers on Wednesday night.

He accused Kelly of being a supporter of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and said that Trump had been interviewed by Kelly in the past. Hannity later defended his public criticism of Kelly, tweeting that he would stand by his colleagues if they stood by him.

Fox News did not respond to requests from comment. Kelly has not commented on Hannity's tweets.

Regardless of where Trump appears, it would unlikely be on Kelly's show. He has made no secret of his dislike for her since the summer of 2015 when she moderated a Republican candidate debate and questioned his past comments about women.
