Former IBM exec now Cray CEO
Michael P. Haydock, a former IBM Global Services executive, has been named chief executive of Seattle supercomputer maker Cray, the company said Monday. Former Chief Executive James Rottsolk will remain chairman, focusing on strategy and relationships with major customers. Haydock most recently was vice president of IBM Global Services' Sell and Support Solutions group after 12 years at Big Blue. For more than 12 years before that, he worked at Control Data, the company where supercomputer legend Seymour Cray got his start.
