Ford's autonomous cars will ditch the steering wheel

A steering wheel, gas pedal and brake pedal will be absent in Ford's self-driving cars set to arrive by 2021.

Ford is the latest automaker to announce its self-driving future. The company says it will mass produce autonomous cars by the year 2021. These cars are destined for ride-hailing and ride-sharing services. Also, they will not feature standard car controls nor will they need a human driver. That sounds kind of insane, but exciting.
