Gardening too boring for you? Just add a shotgun.
If you believe this Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign, there's a new way to sow your seeds: blasting them into the soil with a 12-gauge.
Flower Shell is a shotgun shell filled with flower seeds that will produce anything from daisies to sunflowers to poppies to meadow flowers.
"Imagine a shotgun shell that gives life instead of taking it," reads the Indiegogo campaign page. "Imagine fields of meadow flowers and sunflowers. Imagine gardening as something fun."
Of course, things are always more fun with guns.
It sounds like a joke, but developer Per Cromwell of Studio Total, associated with thethat we saw a year ago, insists it's legit.
The shells contain a reduced amount of gunpowder and should be treated like regular ammunition, according to the campaign, which is aiming to raise $4,000.
Cromwell says the shotgun seed shells actually work, too.
"Walking through a field of meadow flowers, cornflowers, daisies and poppies an early summer Sunday morning made me realize this was working," he writes.
"This flourishing field was my creation, it was all done with 142 shotgun shells. Finally I've cracked it, I was done. It worked."
Creating life with a gun. This godlike ability can be yours for only $50 for a set of four shells (peony, poppy, or cornflower) at the campaign page here.
