Flash comes to HP's Unix

Software maker Macromedia announced Wednesday the release of a version of its Flash Player for Hewlett-Packard's HP-UX version of the Unix operating system. The Flash player displays animation on Web pages, along with other functions, and is the leading such plug-in for PC Web browsers. The new version is available for free download from HP.
