Tablets are hot topics at the moment, with pretty much all the major tech players proudly shouting about what they think a good slate should have.

We don't just take their word for it -- we tear into each one like a hungry polar bear tears into a fluffy seal pup, telling you in no uncertain terms whether or not it's worth you spending hundreds of your hard-earned pounds.

You're the ones buying them, which is why we ask you to tell us exactly what you think, using the 'Own it', 'Want it' and 'Not for me' buttons on every review.

Let's take a look at the top five tablets you've been Craving this week.

5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 -- This 10.1-inch slate serves up Android 3.0 Honeycomb in a sleek body we liked a lot. Sadly, Apple hasn't been too keen on it and is trying its best to pull it from shelves all over the world, arguing that it copies the iPad. If you want one, you'd better grab one sharpish.

4. Acer Iconia Tab A500 -- The A500 certainly isn't the most luxurious tablet on the market, but it offers a fast and fun operation with Android Honeycomb and won't require you to cash in your life savings to get it so it's not surprising it's made this week's list.

3. Amazon Kindle Fire -- Don't be fooled by the Kindle name, the Fire is not like the other Kindle ebook readers. It packs a full-colour, 7-inch multi-touch screen and runs a stripped down version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There's no sign of it hitting UK shores yet though -- which is fine for the moment as it relies heavily on Amazon's various media streaming services that we don't have either.

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 -- The new tab 7.7 is as portable as the original 7-inch galaxy tab but now comes in a sexy aluminium wrapper with a beefed up processor. We haven't had it in for a full review yet, but we're already really excited about it and evidently so are you.

1. Apple iPad 2 -- No surprises here really; the iPad 2 is still proudly sat on its throne as king of tablet hill and so far there's been no sign of it slipping. The improvements in performance and design over the first iPad are clearly enough to still keep you craving it.

Keep your eyes peeled over the next six months as word on the street is we may be seeing the next generation of Apple's tablets.

That's your lot from What You're Craving for this week, but make sure to check back next week for more of the most popular shiny gadgets.
